On April 24th, 2025, the Georgia-made film COLOR BOOK opened the 49th Atlanta Film Festival. This touching tale sold out its opening night screening at ATLFF’25. After the film’s highly acclaimed Atlanta premiere at ATLFF’25, COLOR BOOK would go on to have 20 nominations and 12 wins on the film festival circuit. Now, the film has secured its theatrical release and distribution by the world's largest streaming platform, Netflix.
As part of its 50th anniversary celebration, the Atlanta Film Festival honored an extraordinary group of artists, producers, executives, and cultural innovators whose work has shaped both the entertainment industry and Georgia’s thriving creative community, including Will Packer, Josh Brolin, Carrie Preston, Danielle Brooks, David Cross, McKenna Grace, RZA, and more. Awards were presented throughout the festival’s Legacy Screenings, special conversations, and at the annual IMAGE Film Awards Gala.
