This Weekend: Locations Workshop with Michael Riley

In association with the Georgia Production Partnership, the Atlanta Film Festival will host a Working In Locations workshop this Saturday, 2/28! Instructor Michael Riley is the Location Manager for the (Georgia-filmed!) hit television show "The Walking Dead" and has worked on "The Odd Life of Timothy Green," "Stomp the Yard," "ATL," "Warm Springs," "Diary of a Mad Black Woman," "Bobby Jones: Stroke of Genius," and "Dumb and Dumberer" among others.

This course is designed for any individual with designs on the Locations Department as their gateway to the film production industry. The course will detail the duties and responsibilities of the locations department and staff, from manager to production assistant. It will also help you determine if you have the correct skill set, work ethic, and personality to be successful as a freelancer in locations.

This yearly workshop is a very popular resource, and space is limited! Both ATLFF and GPP Members will receive a promotional code for discounted admission. Not an ATLFF Member yet?
